1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CSSkins ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use CSSkins. If you are under the age of 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You must have a valid Steam account in good standing to use the trading features of the Platform.
3. Account & Authentication
CSSkins uses Steam OpenID for authentication. By logging in, you authorize us to access your public Steam profile information, including your display name, avatar, and Steam ID. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Steam account. CSSkins does not store your Steam password.
4. Trading
All trades on CSSkins are facilitated through Steam's official trading system. By initiating a trade, you agree to exchange the selected virtual items as displayed on the Platform. All trades are final once the Steam trade offer is accepted. CSSkins acts as an intermediary and does not guarantee the real-world value of any virtual items. You are responsible for reviewing all trade details before accepting a trade offer in Steam.
5. Item Pricing & Valuation
Item prices displayed on the Platform are based on Steam Community Market data and are provided for reference purposes only. Prices are updated periodically and may not reflect real-time market conditions. CSSkins does not guarantee the accuracy of any displayed prices. Trade values must be approximately balanced for a trade to be processed.
6. Trade URL
To receive trade offers, you must provide a valid Steam Trade URL in your account settings. You are responsible for keeping your Trade URL up to date. CSSkins is not responsible for failed trades due to an incorrect or expired Trade URL.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any illegal purpose; (b) attempt to exploit, hack, or reverse-engineer the Platform; (c) use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Platform without authorization; (d) manipulate item prices or engage in market manipulation; (e) create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions; (f) harass, abuse, or threaten other users or CSSkins staff; (g) attempt to scam or defraud other users through the Platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
CSSkins is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any losses arising from: (a) trades conducted through the Platform; (b) fluctuations in item values; (c) Steam service outages or API changes; (d) unauthorized access to your account; (e) any bugs, errors, or downtime on the Platform. In no event shall CSSkins be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on CSSkins, including logos, design, and code, is the property of CSSkins or its licensors. CS2 item images and data are the property of Valve Corporation. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Platform's content without prior written consent.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms of Service. Upon termination, any pending trades may be cancelled.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found at the "/privacy" page. By using CSSkins, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing any other remedies.
